Great TV Moments: Breaking Bad - "Run"

This particular clip takes place in season 3 of AMC's "Breaking Bad". It is the very last scene of the episode titled "Half Measures". If I had to make a list of "greatest scenes in television history" - this would very easily make the top 5.

A brief setup. Earlier in the episode, the two gangsters you see in the clip shot and killed a young boy who a part of their drug operation. Granted, this little boy did murder someone, but he did not deserve to die himself. Jesse was close with the boy's sister and this little boy was killed to provoke Jesse by drug lord Gus Fring. So Jesse decided to exact revenge by killing these gangsters but he's never killed a person before. So with a little help of some meth, he approaches the gangsters....and then this happens:

Walter White is the shit! The reason why this is so shocking is because up until this point in the show, he hadn't demonstrated this much violence. I mean he's done a few things here and there (like blow up Tucco's office in season one!) but nothing to this degree. This is the moment in Breaking Bad where Walter White established himself as a brand new, ruthless person. This is where he transitioned from Walter White to his alter ego Heisenberg. This is where he became an ultimate bad ass.

If you've never seen Breaking Bad...check it out! The first 3 seasons are on Netflix Instant Queue and season 4 should be on DVD soon!
