MY REVIEW
The Bucket List teeters over the line of being somewhat of a charming little film. It's headlining stars are Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, how can you can wrong? The movie mainly works because the two aging actors work well on screen together. They are almost an adorable pair; 2008's the odd couple. The storline I thought was a cute idea. My problem was that the movie took advantage of the premise in a way. We could have had a consistenly funny film with these two old dying men on their last big adventure. That what it was, for the first two-thirds. Then it became this sob fest, full of heartfelt, tear-jerker moments, and the movie suddenly lost its appeal for me. It didn't ruin the movie, just damaged it. It's worth seeing for Freeman and Nicholson though.
